Spiderman & Yogi

Halle has insisted my entire pregnancy that we are naming our new little brother Spiderman.  Yesterday I asked he what I could call him and she said, "I can call him Spiderman and you can call him Yogi-bear!"

Pratt & the NFL Combine

Pratt loves football and this week had been wanting to turn his room into a place where he can test himself and see how fast he runs, great he jumps and more.  Maybe we've been seeing the scouting combine on the NFL channel a little too much?
Before he went to play outside the other day he had to add something to his attire...
...face paint!! Except he put it in the wrong place!! Pretty funny and smart though! He told me he needed it to play football.  Luckily he used his washable markers and it came right off!

Here's another great football pose he had to try.  He thought these were better than me just snapping a quick picture of him.

My Fancy Nancy

Halle has always loved picking out her own outfits and she has also always been very particular.  Here she is decked out the other day to head to town...
I need to start taking some more pictures.  She has since added many more necklaces (yesterday it was 5 and 4 bracelets) and is in to wear 2 different socks and sometimes even 2 different shoes!

Riding in the Truck

Pratt had the day off from school the other day and he went and helped Buster, Marty & Mike gather some calves and ship them off to the feedyard.  Halle felt really left out so we joined them on the truck.
She thought she was pretty important!
Pratt was a big help!! On the way home they had a blast playing in the sleeper!  Here they are in a place I never thought they would try to fit...

Little Funnies

The other night Pratt wanted to say the prayer at dinner.  Here's how it went, "Thank you for supper, thank you for my family, please help me to be a good boy and Halle to be a good girl.  Thank you for the Superbowl. Thank you for the Green Bay Packers."

Halle's funny...Yaya sent us a book about monsters.  One of the stories has monsters in the closet.  Halle said, "there's not monsters in my closet, there's just shoes!"

One more...The other night before bed, I asked the kids if they had kissed their dad goodnight.  Halle said yes (even though she hadn't) and Pratt said, "Mom, Halle's lying."  She got very upset and replied, "I not a lion I just a princess!

Helping out Dad

We helped Buster gather a sick calf on Saturday. Halle was so excited to get to ride, but she wouldn't settle for any horse other than Spanky.  So Buster put a saddle of him and I led her around while Pratt and him found the sick calf.  She talked and smiled the entire time.

Nightmares

Tonight we were reading There's a Nightmare in My Closet.  Halle said, "There's not a nightmare in my closet, there's just my shoes!"  Pretty cute!!
